Course Description: This course will provide overall strategies for implementing Lean Manufacturing in high-volume/low-variety production environments to dramatically reduce lead-time, inventory, defects, space, overhead, and non-value-added functions. A small portion of this course is also dedicated to provide strategies for implementing Lean Manufacturing in low-volume/high-variety production environments to significantly improve operations.
