William C. Torchiana co-founded Torchiana, Mastrov & Sapiro in 1980 after holding senior-level Human Resources management roles at Hexcel and Litton Industries. The company is now the largest independently owned career management consulting firm in Northern California, serving over 300 client organizations through offices in San Francisco, San Ramon and Silicon Valley.

Bill focuses on the career-management and coaching needs of high-performing, high-potential executives throughout the Bay Area. Politically astute and enthusiastic, Bill is particularly effective in providing insightful and positive feedback as he encourages and assists individuals in creating desired outcomes. His leadership experience and persuasive style help executives attain their goals and ambitions by aligning their talents with the needs and culture of their organizations.

With a background in retained search and corporate human resources, Bill is well versed in all aspects of recruiting and developing executive talent. He has assisted hundreds of executives in all functional areas from industries including financial services, consumer products, biotechnology, law, and management consulting.

Bill is a past president of the Northern California Human Resources Association and is a founding member of Career Partners International, a global consulting organization comprised of more than 60 organizations with 200+ locations.

Helen Peters is an executive coach and consultant with more than 10 years of leadership development experience working both within a Fortune 500 multinational company and as a business consultant. Her work with her clients is grounded in more than 20 years of her own successful corporate senior management experience in general management, human resources and information technology, including six years of global experience living and working in Europe. She served in senior-level management roles at DBM, Management Research Group and National Semiconductor.

Helen excels at preparing leaders for major promotional opportunities and stretch assignments, as well as enhancing leadership skills to meet new business challenges and organizational demands. She is skilled in working with leadership teams that need to align their capabilities with evolving business strategies and global markets.

Helen’s recent coaching engagements have included CEO’s, presidents, general managers and vice presidents at organizations ranging from start-ups to Global 100 companies. She has done extensive coaching and consulting in a range of industries from pharma/biotech and high tech to financial services and manufacturing.

In addition to her work as a coach and consultant, Helen is the Co-Director of the Human Resources Leadership Program, Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University. Helen has conducted and published research, and speaks regularly on a wide range of leadership topics.
