Scott Morrison is Ernst & Young’s U.S. Life Sciences practice leader. Scott has 25 years of local and national experience serving Biotechnology, Medical Device, Nanotech and Healthcare Services clients.
He has worked on numerous public and private financings, including initial and follow-on offerings. His expertise includes corporate alliances, spinouts, joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions. Scott has advised with client in areas such as business and strategic planning systems, organizational design, process improvement, merger integration and international expansion.
Additionally, he is co-author of Ernst & Young’s 12th – 15th Biotechnology Industry Report and is a frequent and well respected speaker on industry matters. Scott is the former chairman and current treasurer of the Bay Area Bioscience Center (BayBio), a founding board member of the Biotechnology Institute and pats member on the Biotechnology Industry Organizations (BIO) ECS board. Scott is a third generation San Franciscan and resides in the Bay Area with his wife, Jennifer, and sons, Christopher and Ryan. Jennifer is SVP Finance and Operations and a member of the Executive Committee of Oracle Corporation.
